So that means Trump is telling another lie? If his family is immune because of retroactivity then he can't deport anyone unless he alters the Constitution which then puts his nearest and dearest at risk ............. its a funny old game Saint

My conclusion was that I couldn't watch all of that. But if he wants to stop eating I'd support that.
"If his claims are true..." He's set himself a high bar there.If you've watched the whole interview, he did not say he wants to throw everyone in the January 6th committee. In jail.
Rather he thinks they should be in jail because they were biased and deleted and destroyed 1 year and a half of testimony evidence. Evidence he believes exonerates him.
None of this has been investigated or proven. But if his claims are true ( that they purposely destroyed evidence) then it would easily get past a grand jury.
Even though if you ask me, he has no intentions of dragging them to trial. He's just pointing out that they are so corrupt that jail wouldn't be inappropriate.

Yeah but he doesn't know that I am convinced that now he only posts what he is instructed to do only appoint people he is told to do and is being sheltered from any harmful media interviews
Retroactivity is only one of the reasons it won't apply to his kids. The fact that he, Trump, is a citizen. Also means it won't apply to his kids. Even if their Moms were illegals.So that means Trump is telling another lie? The issue is when neither parent has legal status but give birth to a kid in America. The kid by 'birthright citizenship ' is a citizen. But his/her parents are illegals.
In this scenario you can't deport the parents ( you can but it's inhumane) because they have a child with a legitimate right to be here.
Also altering the Constitution if it was done would not put his kids at risk. As explained above. Trump is a Citizen. So on the account of their father being a Citizen, all his kids are Citizens. As theg were Born to a legal citizen parent.
