If the USA 'attacks' Greenland then they need to be treated the exact same way that we treat Russia's attack on Ukraine.

Trump wants Greenland for one reason only, and that’s to plunder its resources. It is already part of NATO and has significant US assets already in place that have been there for decades.

It does actually have strategic and economic importance - even more so now that shipping lanes are opening up due to the diminishing ice pack and of course the return to cold war relations with Moscow. As to expected, trump mixed in those truths with some confused nonsense about Truman and the 1800's.

Out of all the possible tactics to take, seeing Greenland becoming more open to Chinese influence and then attempting to scare them out of it is the single stupidest thing I've ever heard. Being threatened will cause them to seek Chinese protection more, not less.
