Donald Trump

Supreme court judges will have his back unfortuately
He stacked the courts, but it's a dangerous game if they do overturn the verdict.

In any case, Trump will delay his appeal until the last possible second, and then hope the SC can drag out their judgement long enough (Thomas, Kavenaugh and Coney Barrett are well placed to facilitate) to delay the election interference case beyond the November election where the consequences of a Trump victory will effectively stop any prosecution in its tracks.

Squeaky Bum Time for Jack Smith. Don't ever say it's over with this cnut. He's had YEARS of experience getting away with it.

They don’t have to hear it. I think they’ll pass on it personally. Why would they get involved? This is one of the cases where they’d lose either way. Nobody with a brain thinks the President can do what he wants without consequence. But coming to that obvious conclusion will lead to them pissing off Trump. Otherwise they set a dangerous precedent that future opposition presidents could exploit.

The 14th amendment case is the important one and that’s where they’ll expend their political capital if they so choose.

If he wins at the supreme court, they will be on very dangerous ground. 1930's Germany levels of dangerous.
