I'm all for debate but there is zero point engaging with these people. They are incapable of thinking straight.

I'm more than happy to discuss with somebody who has an opinion that is different to mine as I've done many times on this forum, but if they start gish-galloping, I am out. They seem to think it makes them look smart, it actually makes them look unhinged. If they wanted honest interrogative debate with an interlocutor who is engaged on a topic of conversation then they would do them the courtesy of actually answering their points and sticking to the topic.

I recognised within a few pages there's no point in engaging - we've been on a guided tour of Trump to Putin, a collection of former presidents, communist idolatry, the Clintons, Palestine, nazis in Ukraine. It's not argument, it's cataloguing.
