Sat in a work meeting this morning, listening to our outside economists give their quarterly global economic update. Had a special section on the US election. They predicted a Trump win and the Senate flipping R. They predicted he’d win in 2020 as well, so let’s hope they’re as wrong again. I’m sure they do it in purpose because impending chaos brings them more work than stability.
What was it Joan Robinson said? Something like..."the point of studying economics isn't to get answers to economic questions but to learn how to avoid being deceived by economists"
