The groundwork is being put in. The result will be contested either way, and if Harris wins the vote, there will not be a peaceful transition of power.I know ;-)

I disagree. If Harris wins the vote, it will in part be because the majority of the electorate is to hell and done with chaos and contention in the political process. Trump won't be in the position of power as he was to marshal forces to press for 1/6 x 1000, and the appetite for that among the hoi polloi has waned considerably given the punishments meted out to those who participated in the original 1/6. What governor is taking his call? I suspect the majority of the GOP non-MAGA nutters in the House and Senate want him gone. His own inner circle has withered away. Biden (and Harris) will ensure the National Guard and law enforcement are prepared for any trouble. There will assuredly be a nutter or two -- ala Timothy McVeigh -- who do unconscionable things, but a broader battle? I highly doubt it.The groundwork is being put in. I know I’m only a sample of one, but this last week my work cellphone number has somehow got into the magasphere and I’m getting 2-3 texts a day, from various bodies, begging me to show my support for Trump and reconfirm I’m voting for him (and donate, obs). I’m taking it as a positive sign that they are worried, even in a state as trump-leaning as Ohio, that they feel under pressure.
