It’s because polymarket has him as extreme favourite and people think that means he’s more likely to win.
But when you look at a) who own polymarket and b) which right wing cunts keep posting about it (Musk has over 20 tweets referencing it) then it’s becomes a vicious cycle.
I’m buying more Harris and welcome drifting odds.

Last (well, maybe not last :-)) appeal to participants in this thread, with regard to Dax:
* Engaging with Dax is a waste of time, should you disagree with him
* It only empowers him to make further posts
* Dax never concedes that he is wrong. He just continues in the same vein
* To the extent that your opinion/views are in discord with Dax's, given the points above, your continued engagement with Dax only serves as encouragement for him to make even more posts
* Were Dax's posts revealing or interesting or in some sense valuable to you, personally, or to the forum at large, then continued engagement with Dax is reasonable. But if not... then why?
* Perhaps you just like arguing with someone who is ultimately going to lose the argument. Dax is your strawman. I get that - except that the side effect is to pollute this thread with nonsense
* I really think that Dax is a sometimes-troll. He'll spout things off the top of his head that he believes in most of the sometimes, or at other somethings, that he'd like to believe in, but that he knows are wrong, posting nonetheless because his post will absolutely provoke a response
* Admittedly I mistook a remark from a different individual, X, on a World of Warcraft forum about posts X made and said were intended only to troll, for something that Dax himself said on the Bluemoon forums. Apologies to Bluemoon and to Dax for that - nonetheless, I think that some of Dax's posts are trolls.
