Listening to LBC on the school run and apparently the fact he is having to spend today in one of the Carolinas means they are worried.

Yes, Frank the Yank and I were discussing this earlier. 4 of his last 10 events were/are there. Huge influx of folks from outside the state -- retirees, research & development, huge colleges, very diverse ethnically and job base-wise . . . NC has changed a ton in the last ten years. Hence the gerrymandering and the radical rightward movement of the panicked GOP base there after decades of fairly moderate conservatives. TX is moving that direction too, as is GA (gradually). FL will always be purple I'd guess, but if NC or GA or God forbid TX ever shifts perma-blue the way CA, OR, WA and CO have, the GOP is toast in the Electoral College.

I thought that myself. There was no talk of North Carolina being a problem early on. He won that last time so going there is defence.

If he's going to lose Iowa as well then he's possibly going backwards from 2020.

Imagine the MAGA rage if he (narrowly) wins Georgia, North Carolina, and Pennsylvania, but loses Iowa, and the latter, along with Harris winning Arizona, Michigan, Nevada, and Wisconsin hands the Democrats the White House.

He'll be at it all day, it'll just be the adjectives applied to the size of his fictitious majority/scale of steal perpetrated against him, that'll change as the day and night go on. I expect those adjectives to be a mixture of real and made up words.

More seriously I hope the Federal government has learnt lessons from last time and has a plan to damp things down so it doesn't end up like the wild west.

I’ll go out on a limb to say, he’ll still be an unholy gobshite after the election, win lose or draw.
A most dangerous one in the long run if he wins and in the short run, if as expected, he loses because of mass fraudulent voting being permitted for some strange reason.

I just don’t understand why some states allow this fraudulent voting.
They should have to prove who they are with,… I don’t know! ID or something.
