Donald Trump

Heard just recently he's appointed a guy to one of the top positions (forgot his name) who is under investigation for under age sex. Presumably he now gets immunity from prosecution. Birds of a feather as they say.

That would be Matt Gaetz who will be Attorney General - the senior law officer of the country.
The lunatics really are taking over the asylum.

Trump wanting to end subsidies on EVs, has anyone told Elon yet as people fuck off buying his Teslas for more gas guzzlers!

I’m beginning to think the whole shit show is planned such that once he’s in post and pardoned himself, the 25th will be invoked (or he might even resign), Vance will take over and Trump will see out his days playing golf in Florida with his legacy secured as the “father of the MAGA movement”. Vance will more competently deliver project 2025 and the end of the USA as a functioning democracy, with a few multi-billionaires pulling Vance’s strings - Musk being the main one.
I know it sounds like a ridiculous conspiracy theory but is it any more ridiculous than what Trump is already doing?
Stop it with conspiracies or you will get appointed as chief of something in the good old U S of A.

Then once he has the market prices suddenly climb, hope he doesn’t plan on selling any in China etc as they’ll just tariff the fuck out of them as well. This tariff war will not end well for anyone.

I imagine it's the same kind of thinking, tarrifs will damage BYD, who will be under pressure from the EU too, more than it'll damage Tesla. But Musk has a foot in both Trump and Xi's worlds so maybe he can realise an upside whichever way it goes? You're not wrong about it ending badly for the rest of us though.
