I bet Musk would prefer that. Bitcoin is useless as unit of exchange without increasing the supply. As soon as that happens the value falls to worthless in the market not just worthless in reality.

He was inflating the value of crypto by statements he made online long before this year and would rather the bubble not be burst. This current round is just market manipulation and he'll cash out before bitcoin goes back down again.

Musk is a pump and dump artist. I'm convinced part of the reason he massively overpaid for twitter is that he knew he could make a lot of it back through pump and dump schemes.

Now having a willing coconspirator as potus there is no limit to the level of pump and dump that they could profit from.
