I think we would have won comfortably if the game had not clashed with the first team game against Wycombe but credit to the lads who did play.

Probably planned as he's still getting his match fitness back, it was bang on 60 minutes.

Those calling for his inclusion against Wycombe will have seen exactly why he wasn't if they get the opportunity of a replay.

He is miles off being fit,and,while its frustrating,he needs a bit of patience from some.

It was frustrating that the EDS squad was stripped of 6(?) players for this game but still in the group stage so if we win the next game against Rotherham on 26th October we should finish in the top two and progress to the knockout stages.

That will be a tough fixture as Rotherham are currently 6th in League One but the games is sandwiched between fixtures against MK Dons and Sunderland who are currently third and second in the table so this game may not see Rotherham's first choice line-up play.

Hopefully our EDS team will be at full strength with Delap back to full fitness and they will know if they win they will progress to the next stage.

No less than 6 certain starters missing last night with Delap still trying to get his fitness back. Full strength I think we'll be favourites.
