This first leg is a huge game for us, we need our singing sections singing in unison.

We need to give the lads a proper home advantage and scare the shit out of Bayern, because that's what they're gonna do to us when we go there.

So for the love of god, don't let them bring their drum in. We need every possible advantage we can give ourselves to take a big lead with us back to Germany.

When they came and had the top of the Silva Stand aka East Stand we could feel the ground moving in the notorious Family Stand ( don't let anyone tell you differently !!! ) The bouncing they was doing was crazy.

Let them bring the drum. Just take the drum stick off them as an offensive weapon
Pierce the skin of the drum and fill it full of jelly

Little more tricky, maybe make them remove their shoes and socks

Agree it is too dangerous

Completely agree. It made a huge difference in midweek.

It showed up those Ultras songs for what they are; utter shit dirge that have no substance without the incessant twatting of the drums.

These fans just bang fuck out of them and it drowns out our singing section.

Get them banned from our ground!

Not having a drum isn’t going to stop their Ultras singing non stop for 90 minutes.

No offence, but they will be laughing at this thread.

What would happen if a city fan turned up with a drum? Do you think they would let him go in!?

Would they fcuk but an away fan can bring an orchestra to the game and waved through..

Correct, the clubs let the Ultras in with flags, 2 sticks, drums, etc. They will confiscate flares if they find them.

Because the clubs and the British Police accept it’s part of their terrace culture. Just like marching to the ground in their hundreds and thousands. Trying to stop them doing that would cause trouble.

The Police will escort the march from town. Let them stop. Let them chant. And let them move off again when they’re ready.

Watch from the start or fast forward to 3:10.

Absolutely no offence taken, and I agree they'll still sing for 90 minutes.

But with our singers being right next to the away fans, having them banging a drum all game makes it really hard for us to create an atmosphere in our own home.

Was exactly what happened with both Dortmund and Copenhagen

Tarquins have a drum now, fuck them off as well.

I agree.

It’s impossible to sing over a drum as well as continuous chanting.

It wears you, the opposing fans down, unless you replicate it, which we won’t.
