No it's not a Farage rant.. if you do marry a foreigner, live in this country, if you live elsewhere - don't have children. Please don't have children.
One of my sons travelled the world, not a problem. He met and fell in love with an aussie, again not a problem. Not even when he settled there.....
I have just had a video call with my 2 year old grandson and I am so fed up ? Upset ? Heartbroken.. yes. He is so gorgeous and growing up so fast and I'm not there. How Mrs Mist copes I don't know. I know they are brilliant parents so I shouldn't moan but I miss him so much.

I don't show my feelings normally to anyone so I've posted on here.

I hear you BM, I am in the same position as your lad and I'm sure my Mum would completely echo your sentiment. Just know they love you just as much <3

That would be my worst nightmare, mate. You have my sympathies.

As a related subject, one of my colleagues has a daughter in South Africa and first went over last year to see her grandson (got caught in Covid lockdown).

Her daughter came over last week and she took the next two weeks off because she didn't know when she'd see her again when they go back. When that happens, she'll be watching her grandchild grow via video.

That would make me sick.
