...... before anyone starts throwing rocks I for one am a big Mancini fan but surely this is a bit out of order.

<a class="postlink" href="http://www.goal.com/en-gb/news/2557/news/2010/06/23/1990594/manchester-city-boss-roberto-mancini-barcelonas-zlatan" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.goal.com/en-gb/news/2557/new ... nas-zlatan</a>

..to say that Zlatan is the best stricker in Europe does nothing but irrate the likes of Teves and Ade. Surely ''one of the best '' strickers in Europe is the quote he should have given. When a player makes a comment we all jump on it and in fairness Mancini did it with Teves when he said Teves should go if he wants after some misquoted comments from him.

Players are becoming more and more petulant getting upset at the slightest thing and comments like this do not help our case especially when the consensus is that the fans do not nescessarily want Ibrahimovic at the club.

Am I over reacting of do people feel the same??

Well...

If Hughes had said it about one of his old pals the thread would be at 20 pages now.

But I'd have said those were over reacting to a non-story, and the case would be the same here.

But yea, bit of an over-reaction

Yep, don't think theres anyone Hughes could have said was the best in europe with regards to players he'd worked with at Blackburn. Mancini on the otherhand has worked with some of the best players in europe and if he thinks Zlatan is the best striker in europe so be it

Mancini has opinions like the rest of us, in this case he's wrong though.

so by that rationale should players like Robinhio who has played for a top club in Europe be allowed say what he wants because i dont think they should.

Robinho isn't the manager. Mancini sits at the top of the tree and can say whatever the fuck he wants.
