To be honest I have never seen a good game of Gerson here in Brazil. He probably was going well at the State League then got the hype. It happens often, especially with the players from Rio de Janeiro's clubs. But that is true, the "dribblers" hardly live the hype in Europe.

Gerson never played well at adult level.
Some european clubs buy those players that were great in the U-20 before they debut in the professional and this us a bad idea.
Players like Douglas who's playing in the professional and showing a high levek is another history.
