Douglas Luiz

Oh, I missed that bit out... they rate him very highly haha
yea, i also checked in VillTalk forum and they kinda don't want him at City, bcs he will be just a rotational player

also the usual, 42mil is low, usual 115 nonsense

is he the paqueta alternative? I'd be fine with that.
not really if it would mean we won't go after guimaraes though (or someone else on the more defensive side).

he is Bruno.G alternative

A fair bit of chatter on Heroes and Villains but a price of £50 million seems surprisingly low, unless he had a release clause inserted when he extended his contract in 2022.

Hard to comment on this until I see the full range of deals over the summer. If he replaces KP then it’s good business because he’ll be able to take more pressure off Rodri. Home grown too ?

No

Its what id call a smart/sensible bracket of signing. Like him, cant really complain about what we need, and what he does.

Can see the Fernandinho comparison, his passing range is very similar. Those long balls Fernandinho used to do, Luiz does on a regular.

I was surprised to hear this morning that Tolmie had us nailed on to sign Luiz.

Luiz was always considered an option rather than a top target.
