i used to have limewire but its got so many viruses on their it constantly fucks my pc up..i was using bearshare too but theres fuck all songs on there

If you don't mind paying a few quid a month then you can get a Napster subscription. This allows unlimited downloads to up to 3 pc's. It does playlists for you based on your downloads and has hundreds of pre-selected playlists and compilations.

The downside is that the tracks are drm protected and can only be played on the pc itself but there are *cough* ways round that (allegedly).

I've got a load of stuff off worryaboutyou but how can you copy it to cd's. The tracks have a thingy? on them that stops straight forward copying.
