Downloading Youtube video to play on iPod

Does anyone know of, or recommend, a package or program that downloads youtube videos, converts them from flv to mp3/mp4 or some other playable format so they can be added to iTunes and played on an iPod? Obviously I mean a package that is free to download from the net as opposed to one you've got to pay for.

this is what i use

download realplayer sp and install dont bother creating account just cancel when you get to that part

go to youtube and select your vids

if you hover over the video you will see a "download video " button

select this and download

when finished click on "convert all"

in the "convert to" box change to "mp3 audio only"

in the "save in "box change to my music or wherever you music is.

click start and you done
