couldn't give a toss - Sven for us would be a massive step backwards, we just starting to get some stability in our infrastructure at the club and I'm confident Hughes will come good this season.

also Pompey are not a financial threat to us - the personal wealth of Al-Fahim is absolutely nothing compared to the wealth at our disposal.

Sven didn't have a big enough squad when the team was hit with injuries. As a result we dropped from 4th!! in December to our eventual 9th. We had 2 young rookies in goal in Hart and Schmeichel and still held 4th spot. When Petrov and Elano etc got their injuries we dipped in form and our results compared to when we were healthy to when we had injuries backs this up.

Sven did a good job. We finished 14th in 06/07 less you forget.

I think the absolute best it means for Pompey really in the short to medium term is that they can hang onto players like Johnson and Crouch and maybe get a few in from the relegated teams like Bassong, Wheater and yeah maybe Alves.
