i was about 13 ,10 hole oxblood(fucking brown) lovely jubly,and when they got fucked up we used to butcher them and pop them onto the top of the new boots, extra long laces viola 14 hole docs, bleached jeans and a lovely union jack t-shirt ,pair of braces hanging over your arse.

As long as the yellow stitching around the welt is in good order i can replace the whole unit on DM'S but it's £45 for original airwear. I do a half sole and heel for £29.99.
