I think he must have dropped his phone on the beach and not realised it, i dont believe that he or anyone else would deliberately go anywhere without a phone and defo not leave it there on purpose @BimboBob aside but he is a weirdo, lol

Apparently his phone was found at the accommodation where they were staying?

His phone was found back at his hotel Kaz. The earlier reports of it being left in the beach were incorrect.

Presumably the Greek Police will have interviewed her, checked out her story and decided it was reliable or they'd not have shared it.

Also FWIW I think the story doesn't actually involve his wife, he was on the beach with another couple they were on holiday with, was supposed to walk 20 mins back to the villa they were staying at.

I heard it reported "he was going on a hike to the centre if the island"?

Went there years ago, a very barren small island, if he was alive he'd surely have been found by now. Famous for its natural sponges iirc, not that that will help in any way.
Maybe he went diving for some and got his foot caught in one of those man eating clams that were so prevelant on 70s telly.
