Dreams unfulfilled?

What would you like to have done in life that you didn't achieve? A dream you could have chased a bit harder or been granted a bit more luck with, or even if you'd been made a different way from birth. For me, putting aside other things I've done, places I've been and people I've known, I'd have loved to have opened the batting for Lancashire, to have walked out at O.T. and at Lord's with a bat in my hands at 11 o'clock on a sunny morning and not be called back in for quite a while.

I think I could have made it as a bass player & songwriter in a band if I had really applied myself to it and gone to live in London when I was 20.
I've played in loads of cover bands and always wanted to play in a band doing our own material.

Get it had, Bill. It's never too late. I played in bands since 1980 on and off and we always played our own stuff (with one or two covers thrown in). Probably explains why we didn't make it though!

Giving up being an archaeologist when I did as the money was shit. Now I'm retired I've got back into it, even helping out on Time Team in the summer, and realised that it's something that I really love doing. Have now started volunteering at my local Roman site and have started to do more on local digs.

As a kid I was fascinated by astronomy and wanted to be an astronomer.
Used to soak up everything I could read on the subject.
Don’t know where it went.

I was doing a finance degree around 2011 when I fist heard of bitcoin. I thought it was a shit idea but did consider buying some as a novelty. Its hard to track the price to back then but was around the time someone famously bought 2 pizzas for 10,000 bitcoin.

If I'd have bought 1 pounds worth and say got 100 coins we are talking millions. Oh well.

I've always wanted to drive round the coast of Ireland - its 1980 miles long

Trouble is we have a business thats 7 days except through winter, when Ireland in a camper isn't that attractive - so we head for Oz or India for a month - again

Every year I say 'Maybe next year' and its getting late
