Don't want the guy just didn't know what category to put it in. Does anyone know what happened to him? Everything I am reading says he is without a team.

Yep he's a free agent, contract with Madrid ran out in the summer and no one picked him up. Last I heard West Ham and AC Milan were looking at bringing him in.
