Thems the bad old days. Grannies dead, company cars have been taxed out of existence.

Nowadays it's all about upgrades to business class ;-)

haha

when I worked for a consultants in Manchester back in the 70's I got to know all the sales engineers that came in, they all had either a Cavalier or a Sierra and what they wanted most of all was a Ford Granada Ghia or Vauxhall Carlton to make them look more important, a BMW wouldve been utopia haha

Two of our reps back in the 70's nearly came to blows because one guy had an electric aerial on his cortina lol

I can absolutely believe that

It wasn't you bent that aerial was it?

You can't be on your own for long drinking in Poland, every time i'v been there I always get talking to somebody...or a dog...or a parrot

Been doing it since about 10 o'clock. Me, beer and Youtube and all's well.

My wife is mostly my drinking buddy so since she's pregnant I've had to get use to having to have a drink alone. Sometimes it's good for thinking things over other times it's incredibly lonely. Get the right pub it can be nice thinking alone time get the wrong one you feel like a weirdo. It's good to actually be comfortable in your own skin with yourself I think as opposed to those who need constant reassurance of others to be part of a click or group. I've always kind of flew it alone but still wouldn't be 100% comfortable alone, wish I could although

Working weekend nights I often find myself drinking alone the odd night. Although when I'm practising the drummer has a few to keep me company

sat on irc working on an auto uploader with mates (based on advanced ctorrent)

Like the good old days of piracy, lots of weed and booze and most likely coke.
