Driveway neighbour disputes.

So i live in a semi detached house and in-between my not immediate neighbour is both our driveways....To gain access onto our driveways you have to drive up a shared drieway.



Now we have a newborn (which is besdies the point) but we leave the car at the very front of our drieway to allow us to open and clise the rear passenger side door to get the little 1 in and out (as its against the brick wall if not) the neighbour has been pulling their faces at us and asking us why and to be more cautious etc as they stuggle to get onto their driveway (with the swing) well they have erupted this afternoon at us for us to just say "its our driveway. End of."



I really dont want to be that neighbour but ive had enough and quite frankly want to now errect a fence right down the middle of us. Would i need planning permission? Etc

Just brick his windows and torch his car, that'll teach the ****.

Don't fall out with them, it could make your life a misery. Try to explain why you are doing what you are doing but if you're making it difficult for them to park their car they may have a point. Can you not move the car to where you used to park once you've removed your new-born?

For clarification are you parking on the shared area?
 
We have tried speaking to them and telling them of our situation but having a new born like most people would know we can be in the house for all of 5mins then we move the car back or it can be an hour. Etc all we get told is we have been there and managed
 
NEVER share fuck all with neighbours..................anyway some good sound advice already given.

Pics do help us to fathom all this out.
 
If there is an easement or right of access to his property no you can't block that access.

You won't be able to build a fence in the middle because if it is in the middle it will be on both sides and encroaching on his property and trespassing on his land, anything on his land becomes his property as well. So you'll be giving up whatever the width of the fence out of your driveway just for this pettiness.

Go see a solicitor/conveyancer and get a professional opinion.
