in my last house we had a shared drive and it was a fucking nightmare. You can’t do anything with it and god forbid you park on it for even a short period of time….

Im guessing your neighbour is an old ****…because they are the fucking worst.

Your options as I see them, in order preference.

1. Move house
2. Don’t use the shared drive
3. Do something that your neighbour would find equally galling but has no control over….. but might be used as a compromise Eg. erect something in the back garden that obscures their light.
4. Speak to another neighbour and have then talk sense into the old cunts.

We have tried speaking to them and telling them of our situation but having a new born like most people would know we can be in the house for all of 5mins then we move the car back or it can be an hour. Etc all we get told is we have been there and managed

Not always true - 3 of us houses share the main drain. Next doors are the central house and nearest to the outfall with the shortest run so when it got blocked once I am pleased to say the miserable old **** was the one with liquid shit coming up on his drive lol

I reverse the car onto the drive and the baby is on the nearside just because of concience (rear view mirror etc) if i was to swap onto offside then we would have to open the car door onto 1 of their vehicles
