I think we need one of our centre midfielders need to take it upon himself to drive forward with the ball more. Sometimes, there are massive gaps, which if capitalised on, would open up the opposition, as it would draw them out of shape.

We carry the ball well on the wings, yet we need to do it in the middle aswell. I'm not suggesting skinning 4 on a mazey run, just suck a man (Calm down!!!)out of position, and then off load, and look for a return in the gap that you have made.

Think thats were Superman comes into it, But Mancini likes to play Zabaleta, De Jong and Barry in the middle and out of them 3 youd expect Barry to be the one that goes foward.

Thats what you'd expect, yet sometimes there are gaps and no one will capitalise on them. Ireland is brilliant at it, but, like you say, he's not getting played, and when he is, he's either to high up or too far to the right.

I see it as a simple thing, which is very affective, and as many teams respect us and sit deep, we should look at doing it more.

Toure does it sometimes when he's off on one. I agree though we need a driver through midfield. One of the highlights of Sven's good half year for me was seeing MJ do a little give and go with Elano and just power through the midfield and bang a shot in.
