This is a debate which I'm really quite interested in. What's your opinion? I used to be very anti-drug, @SWP's back quite rightly had a dig at me a couple of years ago when I made a comment about purposely pissing on the toilet of certain clubs so people couldn't sniff (how naive was I).
I'm now very much of the opinion that this country needs to take the Dutch approach, we need to make things safer. It's not a war we can win, there will always be drugs, people will always take them. In Holland you can get your pills tested to see what's in them, which is much safer than randomly taking things.
I'm lucky, I've not really had a bad experience (well, apart from forgetting it was my birthday and wishing my housemate happy birthday for a good five minutes, on MY birthday, lol) however I have seen people take things and they're not 100% sure what it is. It's not nice, however there are measures we can take, and I really want to see some advances in safety in this country.
Ecstasy is at an all-time high among young people. Cocaine is very much affordable. Weed is being legalised across America.
Instead of striking fear, let's try and educate.
