Am planning a trip in Spring next year, all connected to Family History research.

Have a question that I hope some Dublin Blues can help with. My family had shops on a street called Lower Coombe. This was in 1862 though. It doesn't seem to be called that anymore, so can anyone tell me what part of the City that was and whether it is now recognised as something else?

Many thanks in advance.

the coombe is still there v close to ST.PATRICKS CATHERDRAL and only 10min. walk from TEMPLE BAR IN A V HISTORIC AREA OF DUBLIN WILL BE EASY TO FIND look up map and find CLANBRASSIL ST next to it

Bring a well stocked purse Mac; you'll need it!!

This is from the 1850s but might be of some use.

A few mentions of Lower Coombe.
