Dzeko is better player than Tevez. Tevez isn't player of the month, Dzeko is player of the month. He can't get ball from players of Manchster City especially from Tevez. He is very stupid player, because he don't know speak English language for 6-7 years.

Not having a go. Just found that bit somewhat ironic.

Not terribly ironic though, is it.
The poster's point is about a player's English while he lives in England. The poster most likely lives outside England (yet uses a comprehensible English). Which might only enlarge the irony of Tevez's English. Anyway.

You're right it's not not terribly ironic.
It's somewhat ironic.

Semantics aside, I just don't think it's correct to call Tevez a "very stupid player" due to his poor English. He's clearly able to communicate on the pitch to an adequate standard which I would say counts as 'comprehensible' for the job he needs to do.

I fail to see how that enlarges any 'irony of Tevez's English'.

Anyway Džeko just needs time to settle.

Re: Dzeko

Just a thought but Dzeko may have been bought with next season in mind, I think a deal has been done that Tevez can go at the end of the season, now this would immediately make all other clubs put up their prices knowing we would be in need of a replacement centre forward, so City have preempted this by buying Dzeko early, Mancini can then assuming he's still around then build a team to play to his strenghs, maybe another winger and play Dzeko and Balo up front together. If Tevez stays and we are in CL then he will use different teams and tactics for cup and league to accommodate the players.

Re: Dzeko

these threads are a joke, some people are far too quick to criticize then find themselves backtracking at a later date when they come good ...ie Richards and even Tevez, ffs have some patience!

I don't agree with the guy's post either - it's obviously a kid anyway.
I think my point about the irony was clear...
Anyway - yeah let's give Dzeko time to settle - he's class. And he hasn't even been bad so far - except in a few brief periods.

Re: Dzeko

Dzeko is good enough - once he has settled in he will shine.

I don't understand the hostile criticism this early.

Surely all Blues want to encourage him to be successful.

Maybe some on here don't.

Re: Dzeko

Unfortunately you have deal with them, its the fcking Internet.

Its on us to ignore these "I'm smarter and wiser than all" characters.

Yo would think so mate. Especially with a Player coming to a new Country, nevermind a new League.

Re: Dzeko

Sorry but anyone who can't see that the lad can play is a nob. Simple as that!

Fair play, Blue.

Still, got to admit there's a bit of humour in someone having a go at our genuine talisman - for once it's not an over-exaggerated media term - for something as trivial as his limited grasp of English and doesn't do so with good English himself.
