The transfer fee isnt the problem, its the big salary that Dzeko is earning. Its laughable to think that Dzeko would reduce his demands by 50%, as around 5m€ gross is what the highest earners get at Dortmund.

and no, Dortmund is not interested in giving their promising talents away to get an old and expensive Dzeko. All their important players have long term contracts, just Lewandowski could leave.

His attitude to me appears "dire" (though this is too harsh anyway) since Roberto started OPENLY talking about replacing strikers in the summer...

And honestly I can't blame him. If you have any personnel-management skills (which Mancini DOES NOT) - you dont come out and say that kind of shit to the media...and then expect players to fight for YOU??

He might not play to the likes of some people here (dribbling around endlessly and running around like headless chicken) - but I prefer to stick to facts.

To say that he played ONE good game this season, while netting 13 goals - to me is mind fucking blowing ignorance. But maybe that's just me - in which case (by that logic) NOONE on this team played more than one good game this season...including Aguero and Tevez.

When I said year I mean 2013. Which also means I got my dates wrong as Norwich was technically 2012.

This year he's scored against Stoke, Arsenal, Liverpool and Southampton. Out of those games i'd say he only played well against Arsenal.

Anyway, the Dzeko topic been done to death and it's clear you're a huge fan of him. But the fact that so many on here don't really rate him says a lot, it's not like it's a handful of people going against the grain.

One thing I am sure of though, is there are barely any fans who "hate" him as you like to point out. He's well up there in regards to the most liked/supported players at the club.
