Dzeko?

Good to see that we are not just giving him away. That will put Roma's desire to get Dzeko to the test.
Exactly,we have a desirable commodity in Dzeko, his personal demands will no doubt be very high but in the right set up he can be lethal and good for at least three more years......i'm glad our negotiating team aren't for bending over.

The figure we are quoting is madness. Poor last season almost 30. £12-£15 million at best

Roma are taking the piss .
Don't bother dealing with them City .
Dzeko best suited going to a German club .

I wouldn't be bothered if he stayed another season, it's not as if we are going to get a huge chunk of money for him anyway. At least if bony fails to live up to expectations we have dzeko

There's very few clubs in the world that can afford Dzeko's wage and add £20m on top of it and Dortmund aren't one of those.

Arsenal or Liverpool are the only plausible takers here since the other clubs that could afford him have better options and I'm also not sure City want to sell him to a English club.

Very risky.

Well if you're not one of them then Roma shouldn't have gotten involved at all.

Sick of clubs acting like a charity case when they come asking for our players. If you can't afford them, fuck off and stop wasting our time.

According to this we are willing to spread the payment out..

Roma are reportedly nowhere near a deal for Edin Dzeko, as Manchester City want £20m – almost double the current offer.

Director of sport Walter Sabatini rushed out to Manchester last night on a flight via Munich to begin intensive negotiations, hoping the £49m purchase of Raheem Sterling from Liverpool would put City in a selling mood.

However, multiple Italian reports suggest talks are going badly with a huge distance between offer and demand.

Roma are hoping to take the Bosnian international on loan with option to buy for €15m (£10.6m).

Instead, Manchester City are asking for €28m (£20m) for the 29-year-old striker.

Tuttomercatoweb claim the Premier League giants are prepared to spread out the payment over two years, receiving €21m (£15m) straight away plus another €7m (£5m) next year.

It's widely reported that Dzeko has already given the all-clear for the transfer, agreeing personal terms.
