Have bought two tickets for friends for tomorrow's match and have printed them off at home.

They mention that they need photo-id.

Would I need to be with them when they enter the stadium?

Not really ... have used them for friends twice before and both times no problems ... but just in case, I was hanging around with my ID in pocket close by as they went in, so maybe do that?

With E tickets I guess there is always an outside chance - for whatever reason - that someone else can print them off and therefore will scan in first. After that then the real tickets wouldn't get entry and there would be a dispute - which is when ID would be needed.

But that's a very outside chance.

I've got three for friends for the semi and all three ask for photo ID, but in my name as I bought the tickets. There was never the opportunity to enter the names of the people attending.

Ive raised this with the club in the past....it states photo id required incase you try and enter the ground using a child's or concessionary ticket. If all of the attendees are in the correct age band for the ticket purchased you won't get challenged. and as the previous poster stated you don't enter the names of your guests anyway.
