This is controversial enough but when they're releasing somebody this dangerous you have to wonder just what the actual fuck is going on.

I’m not getting into the rights and wrongs of individual sentences.

But it’s worth pointing out, as many people seem under the impression that these people are suddenly being released 60% earlier than they were due to be just a few weeks ago.

Whereas they were all due to be released at the 50% point from the previous government’s directives. They’re getting out 10% earlier. Which in the majority of cases will work out at a month or two.

Some of those politicians screaming the loudest now were those responsible for bringing down the default release point to the half way point of the sentence from the 2/3rds point that it previously was for a fair chunk of sentences.

It's a two-tier justice system with Labour (as usual) bending over backwards for the wrong people. The country is fucked and Starmer's incompetent, inept government serves no purpose other than to accelerate it's demise.

If there's an overcrowding problem, build more fucking prisons rather than putting a plaster on a gaping wound.

Doubt it’s the government selecting individuals for release. Much more likely to be someone in the MoJ who is implementing government policy incorrectly.

Cunts like this should never be allowed out of prison, the law needs changing so that sentences reflect the gravity of the crime.

I used to believe the death penalty was barbaric, now not so much.
