am hoping some others cant sleep......

listed laptop on Ebay today over 7 day auction. Someone wants to come and see it. Is this normal or should my excellent photos suffice? I dont want loads of people coming round really! Should I say they can come if they win the auction and not take it if they are unhappy about something?

Cheeky cunts, fancy someone wanting to see what they are buying before they part with cash.

Thanks for your help. So if 50 bidders want to come round is that ok?

Well if they want to yes, why not?

Do you think its odd that someone buying something wants to see it ?

if it's an expensive bit of kit then someone might simply be wanting to mitigate their risk (if they prefer conducting business in person) or perhaps are thinking of making you a cash offer on the spot and avoid a last minute bidding war.

you could always meet them in a supermarket parking lot - either before or after you've done your shopping, and make them travel to your schedule/requirements.

if you do hook up with them you might also score yourself a better deal, because if they do want it you're in the driving seat to close the deal - as it'll be now or never for them.

I'd have 'em out to meet me on one of my shopping runs, and if there's nothing doing it's no harm no foul.

Why should they come round and see it? I put my car for sale on autotrader and some cheeky **** actually wants to come round and drive it!

Only if they are winning bidder after auction ends.

On ebay watch out for Nigerian scammers, they are always popping up.

Do not let him in he will marry your daughter.

if you dont want to be bothered with people coming round tell them its not conveinient, Send them a message giving as much detail as you can & if there are any faults or marks on the thing, see if you can find any reviews online ie Amazon & point them in that direction,
Chances are even if they dont bid it will still reach its true value anyway.
