Agree, Chelsea is not a good move for any player right now. Any other Premier league team offers better chance of game time.I really like Cole and there’s definitely a player in there, but he has been working with Pep for 2? years now and if Pep hasn’t made him a regular late I’m not sure he will be making it with us. But even less so at chelsea with a much bigger squad and a much worse coach

Rightly or wrongly though, Cole is going to consider himself a top talent in the league and in no offence to most of the league, he gains nothing by stepping down. He has a pocket full of medals and a handful of appearences for one of the best club sides ever. He isn't going to sign for anyone lower than probably a top 6 side and even then why not join Chelsea, a huge pay bump and signing on fee and you back yourself to earn the trust of Poch and get in the team.Agree, Chelsea is not a good move for any player right now. What he wants and what's best might be 2 different things. He needs to start over 30 games in a season.
