My Citizen EcoDrive watch is not holding time after 12 years service. Will cost £120 for a service so I'm looking for a new watch. I fancy a change but don't want a battery quartz watch so either another Eco-Drive or a Seiko Kinetic. Not keen on the EcoDrive's in budget, was tempted by one in Samuels but the case is too big. Looking at a Seiko Kinetic:

Anyone got an opinion on Kinetic rather than Eco Drive (Solar)?

I've had a kinetic for 15ish years and it's as good now as it always was, never once needed anything doing to it.

Same here, I've had my Seiko Kinetic Titanium for 13 years and still going strong.

I have a Pulsar Kinetic and all has been well.
FYI it was half price and cost £37.50 from Argos
