It's true, Chamakh had an awful strike rate with Bordeaux, it improved a little and what seemed to sell Wenger on him (besides being a Bosman transfer and we know Wenger likes his "bargains") is how well he played in Europe for them that year. A bit like Jo at CSKA except Jo had a great scoring record domestically and in Europe but turned out to be absolute rubbish like Chamakh.

Hazard can't be compared to Chamakh, Hazard is on the radar of every top club in Europe just like Alexis Sanchez was. He could be the best winger in world football before too long. Real Madrid will be the team that lands Hazard I think, imagine Hazard on the right and Di Maria on the left if Mourinho played both. Unplayable.

What sold him was he was very unselfish player who was good at playing his back to goal and give midfielders a platform to score goals. Gourcuff was the perfect example. Also that he was good in the air and would be good backup player to have around. He started well, but since december after that scandal broke down, he's a shaddow of the player he was.

Even in France he was atleast running the channels and working hard. He stopped doing that now and just look like he lost all desire.

Hazard is a better version of Gervinho. A quick player who can beat players and score and assists. Gervinho has 4 goals and 5 assists in 14 starts. Its decent for a player that just came to the league and he would have had much better stats if he hasnt missed so many sitters.

hazard is also very very young, just 20. There's alot more improvement to come from him

Yaya is off to the ACN, Hargreaves isn't fit, And if either NDJ , Jimmy or Gaz pick up an injury, we've got problems. DDR or Hazard ? A central midfielder should be priority over forward/winger IMO. AJ is struggling for games. While without Yaya our midfield is good but nothing special really.

A central midfielder should be priority over forward/winger IMO. AJ is struggling for games. While without Yaya our midfield is good but nothing special really.

AJ is struggling for games for a reason. I would like our midfield to prove they are not nothing special without YaYa. They haven't had much of a chance to do that this season. I think Milner, Barry, Nige, and Nasri could do just fine (especially if Silva and Hazard on the pitch ahead of them).

He already have Giggs,Park,Nani,Ashley Young & Valencia, and he is using 3 of them almost every game with his 4-1-3-2 new formation.
And also he is using Valencia as a RB and he is doing great there.

So there is always room for wingers in United.
