I was watching Liverpool and is funny how Alisson tries so hard to emulate Ederson but he doesn't have the skills so he put himself in troubles all the time and their croud is on the verge of a heart attack.

The bloke is immense. He's that good that opposition players have given it up closing him down. So, so, so important to how we play. His importance to the team can't be over estimated. I think we have a ready made replacement for every player bar him.

In my opinion he's currently our most important player.....mmmmmmmm......maybe Sterling?

Ederson and Laporte have performed just as well if not better than their counterparts and yet the praise hasnt been forthcoming.....its so transparent.

The reason it was brilliant defending was because he played the odds and made sure it was the donkey who can’t shoot, who shot!

As i watched Ederson last night that bored that he seemed to spend a good 10 mins sorting out divots in the pitch, it came to mind as he checked his studs after every 5th or 6th trod back down that the only fault I could find with the team last night was the fact that I think six of them were wearing pink/cerise boots ?

Noticed at one point in the second half, he was crouching down in the middle of the pitch stroking the grass. Seconds later, he had to dash back and make a save !!!
