Have we been dragging this out because of us trying to knock down the fee of Donna? Because haggling over an extra 1/2m for Ederson seems mad

Or Nkunku, Dewsbury-Hall & Joao Felix who they sold for half the price they paid within the last 2 years?

As you having a laugh? Apart from the fact we always try and reward our legends after long service with respect and help them move on, have you seen some of the sales we have done over the last 5 years ?
 
I just hope we don’t price this out and get stuck with a keeper who obviously doesn’t want to be here? Am sure though Mendes can make stuff happen but this is dragging on no doubt and probably not doing the player or club any favors to be honest
 
It wouldn't surprise me if we keep turning down offers for Ederson.

We don't the same a few years ago with that shit **** Eric Garcia, Turning down offers for a player who said he wanted to leave and won't be renewing to then letting him go for free a year later.

Was it not in January that happened, mid-season. Anyway, that may well be an example either of the Turkish clubs are aware of when it comes to the club appearing like they won't budge on the price. Ultimately, they gain nothing by missing out on a keeper of Ederson's profile that next year might have better offers.
 
Think the Turkish are playing brinkmanship because their window closes later. When ours closes and Eddie (or anyone else) is still here there is only Saudi as competition for those clubs. We either accept their low ball offer or keep Eddie for 12 months and miss out on Donna, and delay the rebuild (keeper wise).
