His kicking could be a great weapon for beating the opponent's press. If they play a high line and push up high, he can play Sané in over the top if everything is well-timed. But I don't expect that to happen too often - teams will be wary of it and will drop that little bit deeper on goal kicks. But if they maintain a high press on our defenders, that deeper back line will mean there's huge spaces in the centre of the pitch, or with the fullbacks, for a delicately chipped pass. If they don't press high, then of course we just play the short pass. It will be very useful for creating our build-up, providing his mid-range passing is up to scratch. Is it? I literally don't know. Hopefully!

It's at least something to think about for the teams we're playing, if even one team switches off and it leads to a goal then i'll take it. Although it doesn't matter now, hearing on twitter its off??
 
They'll probably want to give the new shirt a few days of spotlight before announcing him. Makes sense from a business POV.

jamie jackson reckons the deal will go through once the Premier League signs the deal off
 
Just taking our time for maximum City exposure. There's 3 months of no football, we released the new kit today, makes little sense from a PR perspective to announce a new signing today too. I reckon they'll do it Friday ensuring we're talked about over the weekend.
