Don't know if this has been suggested before. But once this transfer is complete, can you see us signing Semado on a vastly inflated fee, thus giving Benfica extra funds, and keeping it out of third party owners pockets?

Semedo doesn't look like he's a target - or at least Walker is the RB target and everyone says it's done, so I doubt we'll sign Semedo at all.

Because it's not strictly official until the FA are satisfied that the player contract is completely legal and doesn't have any hidden TPO loopholes, etc. This is similar to the Jesus situation in Jan.
