I've been about three times, and tbh it's a lot more shit than most people let on. Edinburgh is a fucking rip off too at festival time, and it mostly pisses down.

Good to hear folks up there are getting what they presumably paid for when they decided to spend August in Scotland rather than Spain. Whenever I've been there for the month it's felt like I've had to autumn's that year.
