editing tunes

does anyone know how i would go about taking a chunk out of a track on a cd? I have a bit of music thats on a cd as one track but actualy is 3 seperate tunes linked together by clapping cos its a live performance and I need the middle track to put on a cd for a mate. dont know how to do it!! help!!!
