Well done Blues. Liam Delap - 2 goals, an assist, and importantly, no card! ;-)
Yeah, but can he take penalties?14 goals and 4 assists for Delap in 12 appearances. Turned 18 a week ago
Such a shame about his red card - he surely would have been involved in the FA Cup matches without it.14 goals and 4 assists for Delap in 12 appearances. Turned 18 a week ago
Let that be a lesson for him.Such a shame about his red card - he surely would have been involved in the FA Cup matches without it.
He was eligible for the first team while suspended. THB got a red last year and played for the first team a couple days laterSuch a shame about his red card - he surely would have been involved in the FA Cup matches without it.
Yes but I guess the club thought maybe that they should not reward him as his red was pretty petulant iirc. I cannot remember what THB was sent off for but guess that it was not as daft as Delap's red?He was eligible for the first team while suspended. It was his 2nd red of the season as well, was the 1st for violent conduct? Can't honestly remember TBH. Needs to learn to cut them out.It was undoubtedly the nature of the red card that affected the decision. It's a good lesson to learn because he is a natural centre forward and the 'type of player' that we do not have in the first team, giving us an additional option, when needed.
