Effective Ticket Price Protest

What about staying behind at the end of the game, like 20 mins after, and hold a protest inside the stadium

Yeh I thought that also good shout or

Enter the ground stay on the concourse for the first half singing city and anti ticket price chants!

Then half time fill the stands and continue, plus if its a live game might get a 2 min slot at half time on tv.

And when the come back out for the second half fill the concourse again :D .

I wouldn't think twice about missing the game if it got them to listen and take action.

Liverpool supporters have shown that action "spekes" louder than words and if we want any real change we're going to have to organise our own protest.

I'm going with this idea:

* do not enter the seating area for the first 15mins of the match.

* after 15mins, enter the seating area and remain silent.

* Silent protest.

For a live on TV match, preferably premier league.
So kick off time is either Sat: 12:45pm/5:30pm or Sun: 1:30pm/4:00pm
Mon: 8pm

Effect --

*Sky/BT will be presented with an empty stadium, greatly effecting how they market their product.

* When we enter the seating area on the 15th minute, yet remain silent, this will allow the broadcasters to mention why we are doing this.

* effective banners visually identifying why we are protesting and clearly state what our demands are.

This will be much more effective.

The big issue is getting fans together and on the side of fair pricing for all City fans (and hopefully all football fans)
And eliminating this "I'm alright Jack" mentality that is apparent in our society.

Can I assume Liverpool backed down as it's not costing them too much? According to some reports there were only 200 of the £77 seats. - Or is this another bit of mis-information.

Probably that and whilst Liverpool have got a vast fan base in terms of people who say they support the dippers, their match going support isn't anything to write about.

They could struggle to fill a 50k stadium if there's negativity arround their ticket pricing.

That said, still a good protest!

I'm not sure about that. I think there would be plenty lining up to go to Liverpool games if the current fans boycotted it. Especially if they had a decent year on the pitch, which they probably will as Klopp is given more time.

Under Hodgson there was 1/3 empty stadiums in Europe and certain premier games weren't sold out either they are fickle bunch.

You may well be right. That said, I am thinking of the sort of situation were the local dippers become more hostile to tourists, possibly leading to more muggings etc.

This may sound far fetched but I once worked in a building in Leeds that te local thugs tried to target because many of the workers had transferred from London and were seen as rich.

Well said. Liverpool's match going support is overrated. They will all want to be at Wembley though!
