Look like good games on paper, and all 4 clubs will want to win it for various reasons. Arteta needs it to put the doubters to rest. Spurs and Newcastle need it to end their drought. Slot will want to win something as soon as he can, even if there's the potential for bigger prizes.

I think Newcastle will beat Arsenal with the 2nd leg at home, first leg they'll look to frustrate knowing they can win it at St James' Park. Spurs have too many injuries to cope with the dippers, even if they rotate and with the 2nd leg at Anfield I'll predict a Liverpool v Newcastle final. And in typical fashion Newcastle will lose.

Think its only one game now?

Looks like Hinchcliffe on co-comms. Joy.
You don't want to save it like that, you want to save it like this.
You don't want to defend like that, you want to defend like this.
You don't want to play midfield like that, you want to play midfield like this.
You don't want to shoot like that, you want to shoot like this.

It’s on ITV too, so Dixon might be an option as well.

Strong line up for Arsenal tonight. I genuinely thought he'd play the reserves as per the other matches in the tournament but he's gone very strong.

Is it just me that finds Redknapp as dull as dishwater? Any time I see him, he has nothing interesting to say. He's a younger version of Hoddle. You can say what you like about Keane (and most of us on here have!), but he'll generally come out with a decent soundbite (the Tranmere one at the weekend as an example).

This is the first game in which a ref will announce via a mic to the stadium VAR decisions.

I'm hoping for some unintended, Coote-esque, consequences of the ref muttering a player/s is a **** being heard loud and clear.
