Didn't do us much harm

We won the 2nd div playoffs against port vale in the 1992/93 season after finishing 4th. Port vale finished in 3rd place, 4 points ahead of us, but lost out to us in the final. Although i had a brilliant time at the playoff games & Wembley final, I have always been opposed to the playoffs & think it is terribly unfair on the 3rd placed team who should just go up anyway after doing the business over the whole season.
