Well, Elano for example knows hes on his way out but moans he doesnt get to play.. then when Hughes picks him and gives him a chance he behaves like he did today.. How do you mangage a twat like him ????

Good to see you've bought into the whole Hughes "it's all Elano's fault" spin.

But it's not just Elano is it? Didn't play against West Brom and we were just as bad, maybe you should be looking in another direction.

ive not brought it in mate... the post is about Elano !!!! i could start posts about the others but it was just this incident that bothered me !!!!!!!

Its not just Elano ... but hes hardly helping matters with his attitude today is he

Did it make the team perform any better?

Or are your needs to get something off your chest more important than the team?

Thing this was his last ever game for City

lucky for him he can just walk away[/quote]
Tonight I am embarrassed to be a city fan. The players have let us down. I have said for a long time that players like Dunne and Vassel are not good enough for City and some fans completely disagree with that. Well, now you see why I am right and have been all along. City were shite today and we deservd to lose by more. I just feel very very depressed with it all.

Fucking wankers some of our fans....wow I wish I shouted at my own team because he didn't take a corner quick enough.

I love all this 'show some heart' bollox when your team loses....what a load of fucking bollocks, absolute bollocks!!! Elano does care, you can see it. He was pissed off when he wasn't playing because the team was doing shit and he wanted to help us.

good on ya for giving him some shit, spineless heartless and prideless.

the team should refund the fans for that shambles.

i honestly feel that in watching city in 30 years i have never seen a team show such little fight for the cause.

i feel embarressed, i dont know why, i didnt play, i just travelled 6 hours round trip, and spent hard earnt money, on a team of posers, and imposters, who without the inspiration of swp, ireland and robinhio were shown up for what they are, not good enough to play for city.

i honestly would be delighted if we spent 100 million this week so we dont have to suffer vassell, ball, dunne, richards, fernandez, hamann, caceido, hart and elano ever again.

this ^^^^ (except i didn't have 600 mile round trip...;o)

It took him an age to take it when we were trying to keep the pressure on...and i would expect my kids on a sunday at 2-0 down to run over and take a corner as quick as they could.... i dont know if he cares or not.. talk is cheap.... actions speak louder than words !!!!!

shall i throw in its a game of 2 halves and howabout nerr thats it

Elano was the only player capable of passing to a Blue shirt in the first half, the second half he was no better or worse than anyone else. As for the corner incident I am the same as a few people who have commented, I was near that corner but couldn't tell what was happening aside from a lingering look from Elano towards someone.

Incidentally to those who absolve Hughes of blame for this latest shambles, how is putting Fernandes on the left anything other than a completely bewildering tactical decision? It was a complete farce of a selection. How are talented players like Elano supposed to respect Hughes when he makes tactical anomalies like this?

I agree - he should have taken Fernandes off and played Garrido at that position.

I find Fernandes a waste of space wherever he plays - never seems to want to play the ball forward - always goes sidewards or plays it back.

Again though he looked really promising when we first signed him and was a regular in the starting 11. I don't know what's happened to him but he now dosen't look capable of playing a supporting role.

He's alright as a holding midfielder and given time to develop and beef up a bit, he could be useful. At the moment though he is being found out like a lot of our players as found wanting when being asked to step up to the plate in terms of proving they are good enough to remain at the club as we make our supposed progress towards being a force in European football.

People like Elano may be hard to tolerate because of a certain attitude, but the fact is you have to keep your most talented players if you want to get anywhere.

He deserves all the stick he gets. I want players who want to play for that famous blue jersey, he has been spitting his dummy out all season. We have to trust Hughes (if he still has a job) to get the balance right and buy quality players who have the right temperament and character.

I have posted this before but these players need to get hold of Mike Summerbee's autobiography and see how much that blue shirt meant to players like him and Mke Doyle etc...
