I remember thinking that he'll probably want to show what he's capable of. Solid performance today. Regardless of whatever rumours I've heard about him being negative or whatever, I really hope he stays.

He did very very good today. Some great through balls, great agression, lovely passing and saw him on the ball alot ... though sometimes a bit hard to tel b/c the streaming quality! Still my favourite though he does got competition!

He still can't do a full 90 minutes. yes he hard worked hard but towards the end he was out on his feet, lost the ball a couple of times in middle field and let him man free for the Zaki miss.

Still think he should stay if he plays like he did today

Agreed, people are quick to knock Elano when he doesnt play too well but he showed real spirit today and put in a good performance, hopefully if Kaka comes he will up his game.

Don't think he is completly match fit yet though as he was starting to tire quite a lot towards the end.

I thought he was superb today. However, if Kaka as expected signs then Elano will be on the subs bench. I would love to see him remain at the club, has he would be a quality back up for Kaka.

yeah i was impressed with everyone though today eapecially the fight we showed when under the cosh 2nd half

First 25 mins was good, then it went a bit quiet, but we looked a lot more solid than we have of late

Zabeleta was fantastic after a quiet start when his passing was erratic

Always think something exciting is going to happen when Elano is going forward with the ball. Much better performance today. Wish he would get stuck in and learn better the art of tackling.

Nice to see him fighting like he did today, he's been given a second chance and he looks to be taking it so fair play to the lad.
